Hello. Yesterday bought the asset and I have been very disappointed. I would say that is a Beta or Alpha. Currently not okay at all.

Known Issues:

1- When you focus on a UIInput:
a) If we use SOFT_INPUT_ADJUST_RESIZE the Inputbox and the “OK” button does not appear until you begin typing. It should appear at same time as the virtualkeyboard appears.
b) If we use SOFT_INPUT_ADJUST_PAN the Inputbox appear transparent and the “OK” button not transparent ¿?¿?¿? (tested on samsung S4)

Suggestion:
If the inputbox and OK button are problematics to control: it would be best to remove the inputbox and the OK button (hideinput=true) and let us we painted a UIInput and UIButton. So we could use our look and feel. But there is one problem with that: if HIDEINPUT is true, the suggestions disappear.

2- In the Spanish language the Done button says “ACEPTAR” in English “OK” and “ACEPTAR” not fit in the box, I suggest you change with “OK” too. For spanish users is perfect too.

Thanks.

For the first issue and the hideInput issue, I think it would take some time to resovle. But I’ll try my best T.T
And for the second issue, you just have to add this line to “AndroidManifest.xml” to change the default theme. (Changed since Unity 5.0.2)

android:theme=”@android:style/Theme.NoTitleBar”

Like

application
android:icon=”@drawable/app_icon”
android:label=”@string/app_name”
android:theme=”@android:style/Theme.NoTitleBar”
           >

For the lable on the “done” button, I’ll capitalize only the first letter of “ACEPTAR” to fit in the box.

Thank you for your feedback and so sorry you’re disappointed with my plugin.

Thank you. Your work is very good and I hope you can improve it because the touchsoftkeyboard of unity is very bad.

Other things / ideas:

1- The “Done” on the keyboard clean the input box but the above OK button does not. It would be good both when pressed clean the inputbox.
2- sure that the problem of “ACEPTAR” occurss with other languages. If you could include in the androidmanifest it would be great. So each person could leave a customizable text for your application, and should be good.

But anyway: All the problems that you have are precisely the input box and the OK button. What developers need is to personalize this. For example, look at the whatsapp:

http://media.meltybuzz.es/article-2607383-ajust_930-f1432801419/de-donde-sacaste-la-capa.jpg

The inputbox has a buttons at left of right of the inputbox.Icons, smiles for other things.

If I were you, just hide the box and let the predictive keyboard work (i don’t now if is very dificult).
Developers can paint the input-box, icons and these think in unity. With that people could do things like WhatsApp and all other apps.

greetings, and I hope you can improve your plugin. You have my vote in the asset store.
